I’m excited to share my first commercial Dolby Atmos music release, “Traveler,” now available on Apple Music and TIDAL.

This early immersive production was created through my ongoing collaboration with vocalist Ember Ray and represents the culmination of years spent exploring music, recording, storytelling, and spatial audio. Produced, engineered, and mixed in the Channel Light studio, these recordings combine atmospheric songwriting, expressive vocals, and three-dimensional sound design to create a more immersive listening experience.

Dolby Atmos allows music to extend beyond the traditional boundaries of stereo, creating a sense of depth, space, and dimensionality that can bring listeners closer to the performance. While these productions translate across a variety of playback systems, high-quality headphones often reveal the immersive detail and spatial character of the mixes most clearly.

For me, this first release represents both a personal milestone and the beginning of a larger creative journey. They reflect a lifelong fascination with sound, technology, and the ways music can shape our perception of space and emotion. I look forward to continuing this exploration and sharing future immersive productions through Channel Light and my ongoing work as a composer, producer, and storyteller.

The Story Behind the Song:

When I first conceived the piece, it carried the title Mistress of Virtual Reality. The original concept centered on a young woman with the ability to move effortlessly through virtual worlds, traveling across realities, dimensions, and imagined landscapes. It was a story rooted in technology, possibility, and exploration.

But songs have a way of revealing their own intentions.

As the composition evolved, the technology slowly faded into the background. What remained was something more personal and universal—a traveler moving through time and space to deliver a message of reassurance and hope.

At the heart of the song is a simple promise: “From here until tomorrow, no more sadness, no more sorrow.”
