As a young man, I made the wild decision that I wanted to be part of this moment in history. I did not want to take a job that insulated me from the ups and downs of the world. That decision has led me onto stages and concert halls around the world, sometimes as a composer, sometimes as a musician, and often as a guest lecturer on various music technologies. I have lived the phrase from “That’s Life”: I’ve been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king.
