At the top of the Vallejo Stairs, overlooking the shifting rhythm of North Beach and the San Francisco Bay, is a special place where M comes to think.
It is one of those rare locations in San Francisco where the noise of the world somehow becomes clarity. From this place, the city feels alive in every direction. People move through the streets below. Light changes across the water. Wind passes through the trees and climbs the stairways of Telegraph Hill.

Standing here, it is easy to understand why she would return. The city is close enough to feel its energy, yet distant enough to observe it. It is a place where someone can step outside the immediate pressures of life without leaving the life of the city behind.
M’s special place represents a pause, but not an escape. It is where she listens, observes, and finds a way forward.
