I’m pleased to announce the release of my composition, “Rain.”

I wrote the melody for “Rain” on the rugged coast of Northern Scotland nearly 25 years ago. At the time, I was recovering from a climbing accident sustained while hiking in the Scottish Highlands and was rehabbing at a small inn in the village of Scourie.

One morning, the melody came to me in a dream. I woke up and quickly wrote it down before it faded away. Although the music stayed with me for years, I didn’t fully transcribe and develop it into a completed composition until nearly 15 years later.

From the beginning, I heard “Rain” as a celebration of life, filled with drums, percussion, and the spirit of a carnival. To me, rain symbolizes the ultimate blessing from the sky, nourishing the earth and bringing prosperity, abundance, and well-being.

“Rain” is now available in stereo on all major streaming platforms and in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and TIDAL.
