Welcome to my new journal,

This space is a little different from the structured worlds of publishing, production, and technology that surround much of my work. Here, I want to write more personally about music, writing, sound, travel, philosophy, creativity, history, and the strange beauty of being alive during such a transformative moment.

Some entries may begin with a story from the studio, a walk through San Francisco, the sound of birds in the forest, or reflections while working on a new book. Others may wander into immersive audio, consciousness, culture, the future of art and technology, or the creative process itself.

I have spent much of my life working at the intersection of sound, visuals, software, storytelling, and systems. But beneath all of that has always been a deeper fascination with perception, meaning, and the patterns that connect people, places, music, memory, and experience.

This blog is a place to explore those ideas more openly.
